Does it hurt?

With my pain elimination procedures, the procedure will be pain free. I have mastered the steps necessary to pre-deaden the skin for all permanent makeup procedures. This ensures your anesthetics have reached their peak performance, before any procedure is started. This is crucial to ensure your comfort, and to enable the application of more color with less trauma to the skin.

How safe is this procedure?

Permanent cosmetic procedures are safe, if the technician has had proper education and follows all of OSHA and CDC guidelines. Single use, sterile needles and machine parts are used for each client and than properly disposed of.

How will I look immediately following my procedure?

Your procedure area may be slightly swollen and irritated. This is called a ‘wheal and flare' reaction. The area may also be darker for a few days while it is healing, because of the lymph and blood droplets that may have been brought up to the surface during your application. While your procedure area is healing, it must go through three phases before you will experience your final results. The procedure area must heal, peel and fade. Final results may take 4-8 weeks to completely heal.

Can I have permanent makeup if I'm allergic to regular makeup?

If you are allergic to traditional facial makeup, Permanent Makeup is ideal for you. The technician will patch test you in the desired area, wait 6-8 weeks, and proceed as necessary.

How do I care for my ‘NEW' permanent makeup?

After completion, you will receive a post-treatment care instructional sheet. The overall success of your procedure is contingent upon you following these instructions. A follow-up visit will be scheduled approximately 4-6 weeks from your initial application. This is to tune and touch up any areas that aren't completely to your satisfaction at no additional charge to you.

Is this procedure truly permanent?

Your permanent makeup procedure depends upon the technician, the products used for the application, the correct setting for the proper angle and depth of the cosmetic tattoo machine, how well you take care of the applied area while healing, and weather or not sun block was used after the procedure up to prier to healing. All these are factors towards longevity of results.

Can a person taking medication have a permanent makeup procedure?

Clients on medication should obtain a release from their physician prior to any permanent cosmetic makeup procedure. It is required that the release be from a physician's prescription note pad and sent to the technicians office prior to the procedure.

What precautions, if any, are there prior to a procedure?

If there is any history of cold sores or fever blisters, you must take an antiviral prior to the procedure. Your physician should prescribe Valtrex, Famvir or Zovirax. Herpetic out-breaks usually occur on the 3rd day post procedure, and taking anti-virals will reduce your chance of an outbreak. If you experience a Herpetic out-break, you will lose the implanted pigment color in the area of the out-break.
