Electrology Probes, Electrology Needles I use what I believe is the highest quality needles or otherwise called probes in the world. They are called Ballet and they are made in France. There are three different types of needles. The most common is sterile 18/8 nickel/Stainless steel, Gold, and insulated. If you check out their website www.balletneedles.com for information you will learn all the details of these electrology needles and what makes them better. They are sized to the diameter to the hair. The Gold Ballet Sterile needle is plated with nickel-free 24 carat gold. This type of needle is great for people that are very sensitive and the skin returns rapidly to normal even after the most delicate treatments, particularly red vein and skin tag work. Then there is the Ballet insulated needle it is coated with a medical-grade insulation less than one micron thick. This probe is designed to smooth insertions and stands up to the longest treatments. I have tried all kinds of other brands of probes and find Ballet to be far superior and much more comfortable. The sharpness of the tip has a lot to do with a painless insertion. Electrology is a delicate skill that takes a long time to obtain. Every person is different and every hair is different. Treating thousands of clients has exposed me to every skin condition, fragile skin, deep or shallow follicles, loose skin, tight skin and everything in-between. Plus, I went to one of the best schools in the country and all day I treated a Calf. electrologist that wanted his beard off so he would come to me correcting and pushing me to be a great electrologist. He had over 23 years experience and could get very inexpensive work done by a student. He knew I was very interested in being the best in my field so he taught me all his years of experience and "tricks of the trade" to cue him while I was there". I am very grateful to this day for that education from that talented and kind electrologist.
